So, now that you think you qualify for an IVA, what’s the next step in the IVA process.

Your call will be answered by one of our specialist IVA advisers. One of the advantages of using My IVA Adviser as your IVA representative is that you can be assured the IVA advice you receive will be accurate and specific to your personal circumstances.
You will be given an opportunity to explain how your financial problems developed, and invited to ask any IVA related questions you may have.
Once you begin to explain your circumstances to your IVA adviser, they in turn will be analysing your situation and using their experience and extensive IVA knowledge to evaluate your potential IVA case.
They will go through your monthly expenditure with you, to make sure you could reasonably afford your monthly IVA payments, and take a detailed look at the list of debts to go into the IVA, and of course, take the names of your creditors, whilst assessing whether any of your particular creditors have specific IVA requirements.
At any stage you will be able, and indeed encouraged, to ask questions about the proposed IVA.
After the IVA consultation, which could last anytime from 30 minutes to an hour, your IVA adviser will discuss their findings with you. It will be at this stage that you will able to have the full benefit of their IVA experience.
If it is agreed that the IVA is the best way forward, and you still prefer to explore the IVA over all other possible solutions, they will start the IVA application for you.
