IVA : Is An IVA The Right Way Forward For Me ?
Many people enter into an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA), because they have a strong desire to repay the money they owe to their unsecured creditors, but simply cannot afford to do so at the rate expected.
An IVA can be a good solution, especially when the debtor does want to make good their debt, even though by using the IVA they may well only pay a percentage of the overall amount they actually owe.
At the end of the IVA, the debts will be considered 'satisfied'.
This means that the amount they have paid into the IVA is accepted by the creditors as full settlement of the debts, thus leaving the debtor with the ability to hold their head high in the knowledge that they repaid as much as they could actually afford.
Anyone can enter into an IVA, providing their circumstances meet the minimum IVA criteria. However, to establish their suitability for an IVA, they would normally need to speak to a specialist IVA adviser.
Here at myIVA-Adviser.com all our IVA team are trained to the same high standard.
They will listen to what each client has to say about their own personal situation, without passing judgement on them, and answer any questions on the IVA subject the client may have.
In our experience, most people do want to repay their debts, but are struggling with the size of payments expected of them by their creditors.
We will establish whether or not an IVA is the right way forward for a client, because there may be more than one option available, and then explain exactly why we have arrived at our opinion.
All of our IVA advisers are specialists in all debt solutions, not just IVAs, and at debt specialists myIVA-Adviser.com giving our clients the best advice is paramount, unlike some companies where the emphasis is placed on the option which would be most profitable to the company.
If an IVA is the right way forward, then the IVA adviser would explain the IVA process in a clear and understandable way to the client, answering any questions the client may have about the IVA process.
From this point forward the IVA adviser would liaise with the client throughout the IVA application, on through the drafting of their IVA proposal, advising on all issues that arise from how to deal with creditor calls to what to expect in an IVA creditors meeting.
If this sounds like the level of service you would expect from your IVA team, then give us a call on 0800 088 7503, anytime, where one of our IVA specialists will be pleased to advise you.
